Timberscombe Village needs you!

Timberscombe Parish Council has now set up a new website at www.timberscombevillage.com

The new site will replace the old village website and will contain all the old information and much, much more. The new site will have fixed pages, which we hope to develop, covering all aspects of village life and for this we need your help. If you are a member of a club, have a local business, have events to publicise, have information about the history of the village, have old photograph of Timberscombe, or can add any information about Timberscombe we want to hear from you. Further detail of how to do this at the bottom of the email.

The site so far contains information about:

  • The Village Hall
  • The Parish Council
  • Clubs and organisations in the village
  • Timberscombe’s history
  • The Lion Inn
  • The Post Office
  • The Schools
  • What’s On
  • Local Businesses
  • Local News
  • The Churches
  • The defibrillator
  • The Village Agent

Each section has drop down menus with further information and with your help we can add much more.

Over the next few months we will be looking to develop the site further. If you have any information that you could contribute please send it to me.

I am unable to research or edit work sent to me so please only send completed articles.

All written information MUST be in “word” (Sorry PDF is no good). Any photographs must be JPEG and have the photographer’s permission.

If you are interested in being an editor of the site please contact me.

Looking forward to hearing from you
