To All Timberscombe Residents - The Timberscombe Parish Plan can be read by clicking on the following link.

The plan covers only those areas which were highlighted by parishioners in the suggestions box or in the village questionnaire which was posted into every house in the parish.

Paper copies of the plan are available in the Lion Inn, the Old Dairy, the Village Hall and the Post Office. Copies of the plan will also be made available at village events. If you have any comments on the plan they can be made by e mailing  or by using the comments box in the Post Office. The plan has taken much longer to complete than we originally expected, as the volunteers were continually drawn between completing the written plan and addressing some of the issues.

Even since writing the plan several items have changed. For example a sign will shortly be appearing on the A396 to warn lorry drivers about the narrow roads in the village.

Quotes have also been obtained for new equipment in the Play Area and an application for a grant for new equipment will soon be made.

The Speedwatch volunteers have begun regular checks and at least one person will be making a court appearance soon.  DRIVE SLOWLY!
